Friendship, trust and a life shared.

The quaich is a traditional Scottish two-handled drinking cup. For centuries, it was passed between guests as a sign of welcome, friendship and trust.

Because the cup is held with both hands, neither person can hold a weapon while drinking, giving the act a historic association with openness and peaceful intention.

During your ceremony, you can each drink from the same cup, symbolising your promise to share all that life brings: its sweetness, its challenges and everything still to come.

Your quaich can contain whisky, wine or a favourite non-alcoholic drink. I will weave its history and your choice of drink into words that connect this ancient symbol of hospitality with your own story
